A year ago today I got this album. It will always have a special place in my heart along with the band that created it.
I remember being so happy, listening to the whole thing straight through as soon as I got home. I’m pretty sure I cried during most of it.
I definitely know I cried the first time I heard Last Hope all the way through. That song means so much to me.
Also, when I listened to Future.
I also remember a while before the album was released, when I first heard that little snippet of now and realized that Paramore was back (though they never really left)
And when I first watched the music video for Now, I was crying during the whole thing. I still cry a bit at the end when Hayley hugs the soldier, and everyone just looks…relieved and happy.
Just the message that the whole thing sends…you can win wars with love, hate and holding grudges only make you upset. And even though it can be hard to let go, sometimes you just have to try.
And most of the time once you move on, you’ll feel a whole lot better better in the end.
I remember when I first watched the music video for Still Into You and I was smiling like an idiot the whole way through. They just look so happy in it
Also, Daydreaming’s music video has an awesome storyline that I love. And obviously the song is amazing.
And lastly, Ain’t It Fun!
Again, I smiled the whole time I watched the music video. I don’t know what the other idea that they had for it was, but I personally think what they did in the end was the best thing they could’ve done for this song.
It was absolutely perfect! Ain’t It Fun is also one of my favorite songs from the album.
But who am I kidding? I love them all! 😄
Sorry for writing a fucking book! I’ll stop being sappy now.
Just wanted to reminisce a bit…but I’m done xD
Happy 1st Birthday ‘Paramore’! ❤️❤️❤️ |
